Häfele has improved its services to specifiers by offering a free NBS specification writing service - the NBS Plus is an essential part of the specifier toolkit. Launched in 1998 with 26 manufacturers it is continually growing and currently includes over 450 manufacturers.
Most of these suppliers including Hafele offer a range of clauses covering their products which can be downloaded by the specifier. Now as an additional service specifiers can request a full specification written by Hafele's estimating team in NBS building format.
Andrew Capel who heads up the Hafele architectural services team said "Obviously the project architect has an overall idea of the standards and finishes required on a building, but they have a lot on their plate when creating a specification". "We can now save them time and money by creating a professional specification in an industry standard format".
