Häfele UK now offers something for building technology that has long been standard in the automotive industry: Keyless In products for keyless access into rooms and buildings.
The technology is based on electronic or biometric systems, and the three Fingerprint, Keypad and Transponder variants can be installed without additional control components as standalone units or integrated into the Gira door communication system, and can be mounted in the standard 58 mm flush-mounted box.
With no keys required, convenient and secure access control for inside and outside areas is achieved.

Opens the door when a personal code is entered.
Even a pressureless pressing of the buttons is recognised.
Allows wear-free operation and thus enables greater security levels.
The buttons are spared and no wear can be recognised. This means that it is not possible to discern number combinations which are entered frequently.

Gira Keyless In Fingerprint is based upon a biometric system and uses probably the oldest attribute for identification: the fingerprint. This is absolutely unique, a feature that together with the latest biometric identification process makes it unbeatable. The technology recognises a fingerprint with the deepest layers of skin, so that access functions reliably even with light skin soiling, small injuries to the skin surface or gradual change of skin structures due to age.
Keyless In Keypad.
The Gira Keyless In transponder is equipped with long-range transponder technology. The reader responds to the signal from the active transponder key or the transponder card. The battery-operated key can simply stay in the pocket, it transmits its signal automatically depending on the setting starting from 1.5 metres or 6 cms to the door. Up to 250 keys or cards can be managed per transponder unit. All keys and cards possess a unique code.
