The word 'impressive' does not do justice to the infrastructure at our distribution centre in Rugby.
Through the expertise of our operations and IT teams we are constantly striving to improve service levels to all our customers through an ongoing programme of development and investment.
Our high-bay storage facility, created over twenty years of expansion, now boasts space for over 20,000 pallets and our current stock value averages at around £10,000,000. With a small minimum order value it is essential that we balance the need for massive stock holding with the requirement of our customers for small orders to be despatched immediately. The introduction of the new stock consolidator allows multi-position, low value orders to be collated and packed with maximum efficiency prior to despatch anywhere within the UK for delivery within 72 hours.
Häfele continue to utilise all available space and the latest in computer technology to coordinate arrival and booking in of goods from all over the world through to picking and despatching those same goods as efficiently as possible. A combination of manual, semi-automated and fully automated high speed cranes also ensures that we can offer the flexibility to process over 300,000 orders per year, ranging in value from fifty pounds to tens of thousands of pounds.
