What is the difference between Fast Track and the Basket?
The basket allows you to add one item at a time whereas Fast Track allows you to check and add up to 20 items at a time.
How do I place an order?
Step 1: Once you have added all the items required to your basket, click the 'Proceed to checkout' button to enter step 2 of the ordering process. (Please note: the minimum order value is £50 exc. VAT and the 'Proceed to checkout' button will not display until this value is reached).
Step 2: Confirm your delivery address and choose a shipping method. Carefully check the order summary, then depending on your account status you may then either pay online via credit card, request a proforma invoice or use your Hafele credit account to complete the order.
Step 3: If you choose to pay by credit card, step 3 involves entering these details via our secure payment portal. If you choose to request a proforma invoice or use your Hafele account then step 3 skips straight to the "order success" confirmation.
How do I check the price of a product?
Prices are displayed on the product information pages and the shopping cart (provided that you are logged in).
The quickest way to check the price of a product is to navigate to the product information page, e.g. Enter the item code into the search box, press enter, then click on the thumbnail graphic in the search results.
How is the pricing structured?
Our prices are given per pack units excluding VAT. Within the product information page and the basket the stock unit is also provided. In the past Hafele pricing has been per 100 pieces - you can choose to display pricing per 100 pieces via Your Account. You do not necessarily have to order 100 units or in multiples of 100 units for the majority of our products.
How do I check the stock availability of a product?
Stock levels are displayed on the product information pages and the shopping cart (provided that you are logged in).
The quickest way to check the stock level of a product is to navigate to the product information page, e.g. Enter the item code into the search box, press enter, then click on the thumbnail graphic in the search results.
What happens if I order a product that is out of stock?
When you order a product that is out of stock you will then receive an email or fax informing you of the lead time.
Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
Yes you can have your order delivered to a different address within the UK by clicking on "Click here to change address" within the Checkout.

Can I have the invoice sent to the delivery address?
For security reasons we regret that we can only send the invoice to the invoice address that we have on record.
Why can I not amend the invoice address online?
For security reasons we do not allow automated amendment of the invoice address online. Please contact 01788 548680 or email master.data@hafele.co.uk with your account number and the change of address and the details will amended as soon as possible.
Please note that if you have a credit account and need to change the company name then you will be required to send a headed letter by fax or mail so that we can proceed with the amendment.
Which Payment methods are available?
There are different options for payment depending on your account type with us. Proforma accounts will be able to pay using a credit or debit card.
Which card types do you accept?
We accept VISA, VISA debit, Mastercard, Solo and Maestro cards.
Do prices include VAT?
No, all items are priced exclusive of VAT.
