Working to standards
The company operates an Integrated Management System (IMS), incorporating the individual quality, environmental and health and safety management systems and this IMS also ensures that we meet our responsibilities as a socially responsible employer.
The company utilises an extensive and detailed training programme, ongoing performance assessments, a continual improvement culture and a stringent programme of internal (Q.A. Department staff and consultants) and external (NQA Ltd and customers) audits, to ensure the ongoing quality of our products and service.

Direct Delivery Certificates of Conformity
We have standard quality inspection procedures, relating to the Quality Standard ISO9001, which apply to deliveries made from our Rugby warehouse. However, as goods on direct delivery orders are sent direct from our supplier's, we are unable to implement these procedures for these orders, and therefore cannot supply certificates of conformity with this type of order. We would like to point out however, that in the unlikely event of anything being incorrect, your statutory rights will not be affected.
Third Party Accreditations
The company achieved ISO9001:2008 certification originally in November 1991 and ISO14001:1996 certification originally in April 2004.

Forest Stewardship Council
Häfele UK have also been certified by FSC since March 2004 for the chain of custody supply of wooden products.
Environmental Initiatives and Objectives
The company has an ongoing improvement programme in place which identifies environmental, quality and health & safety initiatives and objectives for the company and the resources and timescales required for their successful conclusion.
WEEE
Hafele UK Ltd is complying with The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006. We are registered with the Producer Compliance Scheme, Comply Direct, and our Producer Registration No. is WEE/FH0067TX.
Applicable products are labelled according to the requirements of the Directive.

RoHS
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring awareness and compliance to current and future directives, Haefele UK confirm their compliance to this directive which came into effect on 01.07.2006. Specific details relating to any products can be made available on request.
RoHS2 DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU - Commencing 02/01/2013
Important amendments have been made to the RoHS directive which has immediate requirements on our vendors.
The Recast RoHS Directive is now a CE marketing directive. Simply what this means is that if you manufacture an electrical/electronic product, device or equipment, you can no longer CE mark in accordance with just the Medical Device, Machinery, EMC or Low Voltage Directive. Compliance with the RoHS Directive is required before you can place the CE mark on the product.
This should be clearly stipulated the Declaration of Conformity.
REACH Regulation
Hafele U.K. Limited are a company committed to the correct implementation of the REACH regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) - Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006) and will be adopting procedures with the objective that their supply chain are compliant with REACH within the given timeline process.
