Business Update: Coronavirus Situation - 15.06.20

As we continue to adapt to this unprecedented level of change, we wanted to update you on the latest alterations we are making to our business operation and service offering, so we can continue to support our customers and at the same time protect our teams. We are also changing the way we will communicate with you in the future, so please note the action required in the ‘Keeping you up to date’ section below. 

24/7 Ordering

We remain open 24/7 online at hafele.co.uk for you to place your order or manage your account, and last week we welcomed some of our Customer Service Team back into their new look ‘Covid-safe’ offices.  They are available to take your orders and enquiries over the phone on 0800 171 2909, 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Next Day Delivery

To protect our teams, we are continuing to operate with reduced staffing levels in our warehouse; so that they can all work to the recommended 2m social distancing guidelines at all times.  We are fulfilling the vast majority of orders received by 5pm for delivery the next day, but due to reduced staffing levels, there may be a short delay to orders placed later in the afternoon.  Thank you for your understanding.

Collections from Rugby

Our collections office in Rugby remains closed for safety reasons until further notice. We will send another update when the facility is open again.

Keeping you up to date

With new social distancing measures, that are likely to be with us for some time, we are reviewing how we communicate with our customers going forward.  The reliance on digital and virtual methods of communication will inevitably increase as we all adapt to a ‘new normal’.

We will have some exciting announcements to make about changes to our service offering in the coming weeks, as we strive to find ways to help our customers recover as quickly as possible following the Covid-19 pandemic.  You may want to review your communication preferences so you do not miss out on these announcements.
