Tell us about your experience and how long you’ve been at Häfele?
“I’ve been at Häfele for over 23 years and have held various roles during that period. Previously, I’ve been in internal sales, part of the architectural ironmongery worked as an area sales and regional sales manager before joining the category team 10 years ago working on what’s called our lift (flap fittings), turn (concealed hinges) and slide (drawer systems and runners) category. I’ve looked after tools and consumables since March 2019.”
What does your role at Häfele involve?
“My role is to make sure Häfele offers all additional products a fitter might need to do their job efficiently and to the best possible standard of quality. Tools and consumables are an additional product to the core range but are about us offering a true 'one-stop-shop’.
“As category manager, I work closely with a range of suppliers so we can offer products from the leading brands in tools and consumables. At Häfele, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality fittings, hardware, and added value services to our customers, so it’s only right we offer the highest performance tools too.”
What can we expect to see at kbb 2020 in terms of tools and consumables?
“kbb is set to be an exciting show for us as we’re going to unveil a huge extension to the range of Festool products we offer.
“Fitters will be able to get 98 additional Festool products from Häfele and there are plans to extend this even further later in 2020. These new products will include new 18v product range cordless solutions and dust extractions systems to enhance the current range offering at Häfele.
“Alongside tools from our new Festool range, we also have available a variety of products from market-leading brands, including Mirka, Soudal, Liberon, Irwin and TESA, which are all backed up with strong warranties that fitters can rely on.”
