Häfele UK visits Italy for industry leading interior design event, Eurocucina.

As it always proves to be, 2016’s Eurocucina was an inspiring and educational experience for our product development team. As the Häfele product catalogue continues to grow, we continuously strive to be ahead of the upcoming industry design trends, to ensure we continue to offer our customers the very best in innovative product design.

Just a few of the major trends we saw at the event were Industrial Design, Linear Styles and Exposed Fittings.

 

Industrial Design:

Contrasting dark grey painted cabinets with striking metals, such as copper, brass and gold, was prevalent in both kitchen and bathroom design. Bold, striking metallic paired with stark concrete was an interesting and exciting design choice, our PBA collection of copper accessories is our ideal for this trend.

Linear Styles

The linear design trend is set to develop further across the industry with Kitchen design becoming sleeker than ever before. Thin profile drawer dividers showed particular popularity, especially when combined with the decline of individual drawer modules and the movement towards internal drawers behind full height exterior cupboards. Exposed Fittings

Throughout the show, designers utilised the contrast between natural materials and bold metal fittings. Finishes such as oak and granite off-set chunkier finishing touches, creating an interesting design idea we haven’t seen much of in the UK market.
