Meet the Team: Kyra Coombs

Project Administrator ​

Kyra is the newest member of the Häfele Projects Team, joining in late 2015 as an apprentice, with a head for maths, customer service and strong opinions on Radio Station selection.

Settling in well within the team, Kyra has been described by her colleagues as like a sponge, due to her ability to learn quickly and adapt to keep up with the fast-paced team environment. Graduating her engineering qualification at Rugby college, Kyra has continued her education at Häfele, achieving NVQ lvl 2 & 3 status in Business Administration, and picking up some great skills along the way. Not one for standing still, Kyra is now undertaking the Guild of Architectural Ironmongery lvl 1 diploma, and has been promoted to a full-time employee status at Häfele UK.

Although the rest of the team tease Kyra for being born years after most of them began working for Häfele, Kyra has a big personality and sarcastic wit to match. Fun-loving, animal-loving and perpetually positive, Kyra has found kindred spirits across Häfele and has forged some fantastic relationships across the business for projects, and also with many of her loyal customers.

Kyra says: “The best part of my role is building great relationships with customers. I love knowing that I have made their experience with Häfele pleasant and that they won’t hesitate to come back again. Häfele has really invested in my education, allowing me to both improve our Projects service and also develop my skills personally, and the fact that I can bring a fresh set of eyes and contemporary approach".
