Laura Jane Clark to Explore ‘Kitchens for Living’ with Häfele

We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be working with TV architect and interior designer, as well as long-time Häfele user, Laura Jane Clark, on a project to give kitchen designers, manufacturers and installers greater understanding on how the design, layout and usability of a kitchen can affect quality of life.

Exploring Kitchens for Living

Through the ‘Kitchens for Living’ campaign that will launch at the KBB2022 show at the NEC in March, we’ll be researching consumer opinions and approaches to kitchen design. Then, using our shared expertise, we’ll analyse findings and turn them into informative and actionable advice for designers on creating functional living spaces.

Laura has appeared as an architect on BBC2’s Your Home Made Perfect and Channel 4’s Amazing Spaces, Ugly House to Lovely House and Shed of the Year and has a passion for designing clever internal spaces that are built around the homeowner’s needs and make best use of every square metre. She also has hands-on experience in creating and renovating them too, making her the perfect person to support our customers.

Actionable advice for industry

Talking about working with us, Laura Jane Clark said: “When I started my training to become an architect, I used to pour over the huge hardback Häfele catalogue and regularly discuss with the technical team who provided invaluable advice on innovative solutions to help bring my design ideas and detailing to life.

This is a great opportunity to work with both homeowners and Häfele UK to identify and understand where current home and kitchen design is not working and how it can be improved so that it meets their needs now and well into the future. I hope the findings will prove invaluable for businesses and individuals in the industry from architects and designers through to manufacturers and retailers, and I can’t wait to reveal more at the KBB Show in March.”
