Q How many Lumens do I need for a bedroom?
A

Assuming a medium sized bedroom of 19 ft x 10 ft, the calculation would be as follows: (19 x 10) x 15 = 2,850 Lumens are required to light a standard bedroom Using the table below, we can see that this level of illumination can be achieved through the use of roughly three LED bulbs with individual Lumens ratings of 1,100.

   
Q Do you have lights to help see at night?
A

Yes all the Hafele Lights are dimmable and when placed under beds or in discrete areas and combined with our motion sensors you have an excellent solution when you just need a little subtle lighting to guide you around the room at night.

   
Q What is the best light colour [CCT] Kalvin for bedrooms?
A

The warm white (2700 – 3000K) is the firm favourite for bedrooms. LED warm white light creates a relaxing ambience that will help you to wind down after a long, hard day and prepare your mind for sleep. If you are needing light for getting ready then 4000K would work well for this. Using a Multi white ribbon or down lights helps you transpose between a warm white and cool white using the Hafele MESH wireless remote control or wall switch

   
Q Is it just Downlights in a bedroom?

No you can use:

  • Ribbon lights in wardrobes, under beds behind headboards or as a feature around the ceiling
