Häfele UK have been certified by FSC since March 2004 for the chain of custody supply of wooden products.

RoHS2 DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU - Commencing 02/01/2013
Important amendments have been made to the RoHS directive which has immediate implications for our vendors.
The re-issued RoHS Directive also now includes controls relating to CE marking. Simply, what this means is if you manufacture an electrical/electronic product, device or equipment, you can no longer just CE mark in accordance with the Medical Device, Machinery, EMC or Low Voltage Directives. Compliance with the RoHS Directive is also now required before you place the CE mark on the product.
This should be clearly stipulated in any Declaration of Conformity provided by vendors of electrical/electronic products.
Häfele UK complies with The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2006, whilst also maintaining our compliance obligations within the 2014 recast directive. We are registered with Comply Direct, Registration number WEE/FH0067TX. Applicable products are labelled accordingly to the requirements of the directive.
For collection and recycling of Business End User WEEE please email email@example.com or telephone 01788 548618.
