SLIDO Name Change

SLIDO goes through a small identity change

We’re making improvements to how you shop our SLIDO product range.

We've changed the names of the product within our own brand range of sliding door gear, SLIDO, to help make it easier to identify the right solution for the desired application.

Whilst we’re fond of the previous names SLIDO classic and SLIDO design, the new naming convention allows you to quickly identify exactly what sort of product you need for your project. Don’t worry though, the new names will still be searchable online, and no specifications have changed (except for a few improvements), SLIDO remains a high-quality solution.

How does the new naming system work?

Our SLIDO products now fall into one of four categories, depending on the application they are required for:
•   SLIDO Door (D)
•   SLIDO Furniture (F)
•   SLIDO Wall (W)
•   SLIDO Room (R)

Using the letter from each category, we can identify the application for that product. It’s that simple!
We are also applying the appropriate movement system under each category to form the new name.
•   FOLD
•   LINE
•   FLUSH
•   PARK

From this we know any product named SLIDO F-Line – Is a sliding solution for furniture using the line system. Or SLIDO W-Fold, for example is a solution for walls, using the folding movement system.
